For Marvin Bernardo, interior design is about more than creating beautiful spaces. It’s about understanding how people live, work and connect—and translating that into considered environments that feel personal, purposeful and timeless.
With over 10 years of experience across residential and commercial fit-outs, Marvin brings a thoughtful and highly personalised approach to every project. He takes the time to listen—to understand his clients’ style, needs, aspirations and budget—before developing a tailored design that feels uniquely theirs.
His experience spans residential, display apartments, commercial common areas, build-to-rent developments and multi-residential furniture packages for investors and developers. He specialises in bespoke furniture, fixtures and equipment solutions, carefully balancing aesthetics, functionality and commercial considerations to create spaces that are both beautiful and purposeful.
Marvin believes that great design is found in the details. From the overall vision to the smallest finishing touch, every element should have a reason for being there. His approach is collaborative and considered, creating interiors that not only look exceptional but also work effortlessly for the people who experience them.
Inspired by Life
Outside the studio, Marvin’s greatest inspiration is his family. Time spent together, shared meals, weekends outdoors and the everyday moments of family life continually influence his perspective on what makes a space feel welcoming, comfortable and truly meaningful.
When he’s not working, Marvin enjoys staying active through pickleball, running and swimming, as well as escaping outdoors for camping and 4WD adventures. He’s also passionate about food—from discovering new cafés and restaurants to experimenting with new creations in his own kitchen.
These experiences remind him that the best spaces are ultimately about how they make us feel and the memories we create within them.
